Donald Trump has called out Cher for attacking his pal, Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney.
“Cher said some very unflattering and nasty things about Governor Romney, and I think it was inappropriate, what she said, frankly,” Trump told Fox’s Greta Van Susteren on Monday, referring to an angry tweet the singer fired off last week.
Trump not only went after Cher – calling her “an average talent who is out of touch with reality” on Twitter – but he also criticized TV personality Rosie O’Donnell while he was at it.
“But then you threw in Rosie,” Van Susteren said, sounding confused. “I mean, you resurrected Rosie into the fight by calling her a total loser. She wasn’t even in this fight with you.”
“Well, I likened [Cher] to Rosie, as a loser,” Trump, who has feuded with O’Donnell before, explained. “But I – you know, I understand Cher and Cher is somewhat of a loser. She’s lonely. She’s unhappy. She’s very miserable. And her sound-enhanced and computer-enhanced music doesn’t do it for me, believe me.” (Politico/McDevitt)
