Jennifer Lopez is drawing a line in the sand — paying nearly a grand to rent out a public beach in L.A. last weekend … to keep randoms away from her family and children.
Sources tell TMZ, Jennifer forked over $925 to the city of Long Beach to rent out Marine Beach on Saturday — 3,400 feet of shoreline — just for her, her kids, her BF Casper Smart and other family and friends.

To keep out the riffraff, we’re told lifeguards marked off the water using buoys — and kept the beach gates locked.

We’re told J.Lo and co. brought their own jet skis for awesome fun times — and even hired a wakeboard instructor.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers are playing a free concert for volunteers working on the president’s re-election campaign in Ohio, the Plain Dealer reports:

The Los Angeles-based group will perform a free concert for Obama campaign workers at the House of Blues in Cleveland Sunday afternoon, following the band’s induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum Saturday night.

The group, which supports President Barack Obama, saw giving a free concert as a way to help him, said an Obama campaign official in Ohio.

But to get in the concert, you must be willing to work for the Obama campaign this week by volunteering at any Northeast Ohio phone bank. A link was activated Monday night allowing people to volunteer. Tickets are limited.  (Politico/McDevitt)

Arnold Schwarzenegger would like Maria Shriver to take him back, but he’s not holding out hope and is at peace with the likely end of his marriage … sources very close to the actor tell TMZ.

As TMZ first reported, Maria has waffled on divorcing her hubby, partly because he still has a strong emotional hold on her and partly because divorce runs counter to her religion. But we’re told as time passes and both Arnold and Maria have created separate lives, divorce is looking more certain.

We’re told Arnold believes Maria’s friends have done everything they can to poison the waters, imploring Maria to stay clear of him.

And our sources say Arnold and Maria are already “very close” in working out a financial settlement.

Whatever they decide, we’re told both Arnold and Maria are in lockstep over one thing — making the break up as painless as possible for their kids. (TMZ)

Melissa Etheridge‘s ex-GF Tammy Lynn Michaels claims she’s barely scraping by on the $23,000 a month Melissa currently pays her in partner and child support — and now, she wants a massive raise … this according to new court docs obtained by TMZ.

Tammy just filed the papers in the couple’s infamously bitter separation claiming Melissa makes roughly $177,882.00 PER MONTH … and got Tammy accustomed to an extravagant lifestyle while they were together … so the $23k is incredibly unfair.

Tammy — a former actress — also claims she has “virtually no savings” and would need “extensive retraining” if she were to rejoin the workforce.

Tammy claims Melissa is also brainwashing the kids — training them to be emotionally distant and rude to Tammy … and now they won’t even give her a hug.

Tammy also accuses Melissa of cursing around the children — including one instance … when she told Tammy to “get the f**k off my back” in front of the kids. According to Tammy, Melissa also refuses to let the kids get vaccinated.

As for the reason behind the mudslinging — Tammy and Melissa are headed into a settlement conference in May to determine support and custody issues … so it’s important for Tammy to demonstrate she’s the better mom.

On top of increased support, Tammy also wants Melissa to pay her $120,000 legal bill. Calls to Melissa were not returned. (TMZ)

Though she still supports President Obama, Barbra Streisand won’t be crooning for him at a fundraiser in Los Angeles next month, the Wrap reports:

Published reports had suggested that the singer — who has lent her lungs to Democrats dating back to John F. Kennedy and Lyndon Johnson – would entertain at a May 10 event to be hosted by DreamWorks Animation’s Jeffrey Katzenberg. Party officials have set a $2 million goal for the event.

But a source close to Streisand told TheWrap that she will not be performing.

Streisand sang at a fund-raiser for Obama at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in 2008, when the president went on to take in $2.8 million from the entertainment industry.

Streisand’s rep confirmed that she won’t be singing because of her schedule. But he added that there’s “a strong possibility” that she’ll attend as “a contributing audience member.” Either way, she’ll be involved in future fundraising efforts, he said. (Politico/McDevitt)

In what seems like a obvious attempt to convince everyone he REALLY IS Adolf Hitler‘s grandson … a mustached man named Philippe Loret took his German Shepherd out for a walk in Paris this week.

Loret — a former plumber who served in the French Air Force — is adamant his father was Hitler’s secret lovechild … despite the lack of hard evidence to back his claim.

Loret claims his grandmother — the son of a German soldier — abandoned her son back in 1918 and fled to Paris due to the shame of having an illegitimate child … only to reconnect 22 years later.

She eventually told her son that his father was Hitler … and he passed the story down to Philippe.

“I believe I am Hitler’s grandson. Of course I am. The evidence is there. If people don’t believe it, that’s their problem” … Philippe told the Daily Mail.

As for Philippe’s feelings towards the Jews … he says what Hitler did was “wrong” … yet he has 2 images of the evil bastard hanging in his home in Paris. (TMZ)
