Plot Summary: Set against South Africa’s beautifully varied landscapes, this high-spirited comedy is a feel-good movie about love, commitment, intimacy, friendship and all the maddening obstacles that can get in the way of a happy ending. The film is a forward looking farce set in the new South African cultural mixing pot, as the nation strives to be defined as more than their shared political history. It’s modern day South Africa and in Cape Town the beautiful Ayanda (Zandile Msutwana) is just days away from achieving her lifelong dream: the perfect white wedding. The only problem is that her husband-to-be, the loyal, committed Elvis (Kenneth Nkosi) is 1800 kilometres away in Johannesburg. He sets off on Tuesday night by bus to Durban intending to connect with his childhood friend and best-man Tumi (Rapulana Seiphemo). But the plans start to go awry when Tumi doesn’t show up at the bus station. Not an auspicious beginning, but this is just the first in many comic and illuminating misadventures they meet along the way. In the end, the two lovers learn that celebrating their union is more about the journey than getting to the church on time.

After surviving breast cancer as well as a widely publicized divorce, López didn’t let herself down in the face of hardship. “It makes you stronger knowing you can tackle anything that life presents you with, whether it’s work, your health, your family, your children; confront any obstacle knowing that you can always pick yourself up [and] continue to move forward with a sense of pride,” said the thirty-nine year old Puerto Rican actress, who hopes to return to the Spanish-language soap scene very soon.

TMZ has learned “Real Housewives of New Jersey” star Teresa Giudice is “ready to walk away” from the show unless producers cough up “Jersey Shore money” … and fast!!!

Sources connected to the show tell us “several of the women are no longer satisfied with their deals” and will not show up to begin shooting Season 3 on September 3rd — unless they get new contracts worth significantly more moolah. 

We’re told Teresa — who’s financial issues have been a major plot point on the show — is the most adamant about the contract situation … asking for a cut of the DVD and merchandise sales … freedom to make more paid appearances … and her salary DOUBLED.

A source extremely close to Teresa tells us, “She would like to be paid more equivalent to what the ‘Jersey Shore‘ kids are getting” …. adding, “If she’s not treated better by Bravo, she’s ready to walk away.”

FYI — the “Jersey Shore” kids are reportedly pulling in around $30k per episode.

A rep for Bravo tells us they don’t comment on contract negotiations.

With the real estate market still in the crapper … Tiger Woods recently took out a $54.5 million mortgage for the mega-mansion he’s building on Florida’s exclusive Jupiter Island.

TMZ has obtained legal documents filed in Martin County on August 27 — four days after Tiger finalized his divorce from Elin Nordegren — in which he lists himself as a “single man” … possibly for the first time since his marriage ended.

Tiger also agrees to pay back the gargantuan loan by January 15, 2016. So, it seems there’s one group of people counting on Tiger to make a comeback — his lenders.

According to the docs, Tiger’s property spans across three parcels of land … and as we’ve previously reported, the estate will include a tennis court, oxygen therapy room, multiple pools and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Sofia Vergara just posted a post-surgery picture of her boyfriend — who broke his leg in a car accident last week — and according to her, he couldn’t look better.

Sofia tweeted, “How can someone look so handsome after 6 hrs in an operating room???!!!!”

As TMZ first reported, 35-year-old Nick Loeb suffered a broken leg and a severe gash across his chest after the nasty car crash in Bel Air.

We’d be smiling at the camera too if Sofia were taking the picture.

“The Daily Show” has a knack for going on vacation when important things happen, so it’s nice to see Jon Stewart proactively “report” on Glenn Beck’s Aug. 28 civil rights rally on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial. In a segment dubbed “I Have A Scheme,” Stewart picked apart Beck’s plan to “restore honor” to the republic on the same day and in the same place as Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. did exactly 47 years…

I suspect that Bill O’Reilly is obsessed with me, so he singles out every celebrity in my column. I would even offer proof from Billo confirming this obvious fact, but I’m told he’s on vacation and “unreachable.”

Still, there’s a probable method to his need to criticize Kim Kardashian and Justin Bieber (on their flirtatious Elle shoot) and Jennifer Aniston (over statements about motherhood):
